Our Mission

Miami-Dade County Public Schools Office of Risk and Benefits Management will develop insurance and self-insurance programs covering liability, workers' compensation, property, bonds, and various other coverages as needed;
   
create and maintain a comprehensive fringe benefit program consisting of health coverage, life insurance and a full flexible benefit program, which includes dental, vision, legal, disability, long-term care and health screening coverage among others;
   
implement various student health, dental, vision, and accident insurance programs to promote health and provide a mechanism to pay for medical treatment when needed;
   
coordinate district wide risk management programs to maximize available funds for the education of students in Miami-Dade County.
